The Y·M·I· Assessments
The BrushFires program utilizes a set of psychometric assessments known as the Y•M•I Assessments. These are not a basic personality evaluation that measures behavior, desires, or basic preferences. They are a proven, psychometric assessment tool.
Psychometric assessment tools are used in business and must meet certain anti-discriminatory requirements to prove their validity and reliability. The Y•M•I Assessments have met those rigid requirements. They have been historically used in private practice as a corporate assessment tool, so they will not come up as a nationally known psychometric assessment tool like DISC, Myers-Briggs, Caliper, etc., but they are equal to those better-known tools.
We are the first organization to be able to offer the Y•M•I Assessments to the general public.
